Intergrown clusters of lustrous, translucent, stacked, light straw-yellow, nailhead calcite rhombs partially cover a 4.1 cm long sharp, lustrous, dark metallic-gray modified magnetite dodechedron on this showy and excellent combination from this well-known locale. The exposed part of the magnetite is 2.3 x 2.1 cm. Specimens of this high quality came out in early-mid 1990s, with none since. Strong magnetism, as you would expect. Very faint calcite fluorescence. This fine piece has several excellent display views.
