Item Description
Magnetite octahedrons in green schist matrix are hard to come by from this locality in Brazil. These showy, ultra-sharp, elongated crystals have good luster for the most part, with a bit of iridescence and oxidation along the faces. The elongated octahedrons are 1.7 cm along the widest edge, and are very nearly pristine. A classic and seldom available Magnetite specimen from this locale.
