Dozens of octahedral Magnetite crystals cover this eye-catching miniature from Morocco. The brilliantly shiny and submetallic lustered Magnetites have incredibly sharp form and there must be several dozen crystals on this glistening piece. There is contact on one end of the piece and a few of the crystals show minor damage that isn't readily apparent unless you look closely. This Moroccan locality has produced fine Magnetite over the years and this is a very good miniature.
