Magnesite with Uvite Tourmaline

Uvite and Magnesite are a classic combo from this Brazilian locality. Usually, the Magnesite merely "accents" the Uvites. But here, you have at one end of the specimen a group of lustrous, deep red Uvites (the more rare color, I should add), which mesaure up to 7 mm. At the other end, a large, razor-sharp rhomb of Magnesite that measures 2.6 cm stands out from the smaller ones. This gives the specimen a beautiful balance, I think, and sets it apart from the more common material that emphasizes only one of the two species. Priced at $900.
