Item Description
An unusual compressed hexagonal crystal of tan colored Magnesite from the "Tanzenbergtunnel" roadcut in Austria. I've never seen one of these before, and it has excellent textbook crystal form, and would make a great addition to a thumbnail collection, a carbonate suite, or a collection of European curiosities. The specimen came to us from the collection of Jim Robision, and it has an additional collection mentioned on the label, but it's difficult to read (possibly "A. Stevenson").
