Item Description
This specimen was originally labeled simply as Riebeckite on the old Gerstmann label, but these specimens have since been analyzed and were found to be Magnesio-riebeckite, which makes sense due the color. This is the first specimen of this material that we've had to offer, and when compared to the limited examples we could find online, it is a superb representation that would make a fine addition to any Franklin suite. This cabinet sized display specimen is a solid mass of platy, soft grey-blue Magnesioriebeckite on both sides, with a bit of brownish oxidation in areas. A must have specimen for any Franklin mineral collection, as they are virtually impossible to find on the market.
