Item Description
Manganoan calcite from the famous San Juan Mountains of Colorado is renowned for its "neon-pink" fluorescent calcite. This showy and excellent CABINET spray of pristine, translucent, intergrown, pastel-pink calcite scalenohedrons is from the famous Treasury Tunnel, which was connected to the Idarado Mine. The mine closed in 1978, so this is undoubtably older material. Ex Jamie Bird Collection. valued $750
