Item Description
A bright sparkling specimen labelled as an unknown in the collection - possibly a Lukrahnite from comparisons on MINDAT and known associations and styles (per advice from a well known dealer in micros) - but not analysed to confirm. However, we did get a nice note from Ludger Krahn after whom it is named, looking by remote at photos:
It looks like the first specimen was found (not the type material). Perhaps You can see zincolivenite xls and very very small bayldonite xlx? Sure enough, he recognizes the assemblage and there are indeed such crystals underneath, indicating the pocket. This was found and sold unidentified, before the later discovery that it was a new species , apparently from a later pocket.
