Ludwigite is an uncommon anhydrous Mg-Fe borate found in contact metamorphic deposits as high-temperature phases. Dense, parallel-growth, elongated prisms form this showy and excellent miniature from this well-known former iron mine. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
