Item Description

This is a good specimen of this remarkably rare iron phosphate consisting of wonderful, sharp, gemmy, lustrous, green crystal "sprays" measuring up to 4 mm associated with golden-brown Siderite on Pyrite. There are truly about 5 localities in the world the produce fine crystallized Ludlamite specimens, (i.e., Cornwall, Santa Eulalia, Trepca, Blackbird Mine in Idaho), and ALL of them, except for Huanuni and now defunct. PLEASE NOTE: There have been no more of these specimens found in nearly a decade from this locality, and it is a possibility there will never be any more, so don't miss out on a good quality piece from a classic Bolivian locality.
