Item Description
Vivid pistachio-green, sharp, lustrous, translucent, tabular ludlamite prisms, to 1.8 cm, are very aesthetically scattered on the sculptural large elongated matrix plate. Sparkly tiny siderite microcrystals cover the nodular ironstone matrix. This showy and excellent piece is from recent finds at this claim for phosphatic nodules in recent alluvial deposits replacing organic material, lignite and forest soils along a river (MINDAT). A very fine example with outstanding isolated crystals with rich color from the find.
