Item Description

Lorenzenite is a rare sodium, titanium silicate found in nepheline syenites and pegmatites. The largest and finest examples of the species are from this locality in the Kola Peninsula. A huge, 3.3 cm, sharp, lustrous, doubly terminated, brown crystal is aesthetically set in matrix which hosts numerous lustrous, jet-black aegirine needles to 2.5 cm. Excellent and large material.
