Item Description

Lorenzenite is a rare Na-Ti silicate, with undoubtedly the finest examples coming from the famous massifs of the Kola Peninsula of Russia. The sculptural matrix features sharp, lustrous, brown, orthorhombic crystals on both sides with hard-to-see slender aegirine needles. The impressive large doubly terminated crystal is 2.0 cm. Very showy, highly representative matrix material for the species and locale from the Matioli Collection.
