Item Description
An exquisite, sharp, 2.7 cm, doubly terminated lorenzenite crystal with fine mahogany color, partial translucence and high luster is very aesthetically set on matrix on this excellent specimen. A section of another crystal and impresssions where other crystals once lay adds drama to this showy piece. Lorenzenite is a rare silicate with Titanium. From a Russian suite we purchased at Tucson about ten years ago, of historical specimens! The label says Keivy, but this piece is undoubtedly from the Lovozero Massif. The price on his label is over 10 years old. A classic lorenzenite specimen. valued $450
