Item Description
Lorenzenite is a rare Na-Ti silicate, with the finest examples coming from the famous massifs of the Kola Peninsula of Russia. This miniature features four sharp, lustrous, brown, orthorhombic crystals in matrix. Each crystal has about 1 cm exposed. One crystal has a few tiny bruises, but otherwise the condition is excellent. This is a quite showy, highly representative, matrix example of the species and locality. Ex. Fersman Museum.
