Loparite-Ce is a rare REE-oxide and this specimen is from the Type Locality area. A relatively large, 6 mm twinned crystal from what is certainly the most significant modern locale for the species. It rests atop a foliated gneiss matrix loaded with lustrous aegirine needles. SHARP!
