Lollingite with Serpentine (ex Kay Robertson and Collection)

Item Description

A hard to find specimen featuring silvery metallic crystals (and partial crystals) of Lollingite intermixed with mossy green colored Serpentine host rock matrix. This is rare material, and virtually impossible to find on the market these days. A great oiverall specimen to add to a sulfide suite. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6919) with a label from Dr H. v. Karabacek. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
