Item Description
Lollingite, Fe-arsenide, is rare from the famous Broken Hill deposit and is extremely rare from the ZC Mine. This is an important combination rarity. An impressive 1.2 cm brilliant silvery crystal is dramatically embedded a sculptural matrix of massive to subhedral, rose-red rhodonite. Numerous fragments of smaller crystals are embedded in all sides of the rhodonite. Both ends of the large crystal are broken, but this remains a very significant, rich, colorful and rare combination from this renowned deposit.
