Lizardite on Calcite (RARE locality specimen)

Item Description

An incredibly hard to find specimen from the famed N'Chwaning Mines in South Africa featuring attractive, fibrous, golden-brown fibrous Lizardite coating compressed rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring up to 2.0 cm across. It's the only specimen of this material that we've had to offer in the auctions, so if you collect minerals of the Kalahari Manganese Field or unusual associations, this is something you're not likely to see again anytime soon.
