Liroconite (old classic) ex Obodda

Liroconite is a very rare and Holy Grail species for Cornwall collectors. The gorgeous, bright blue color is rarely matched in the Mineral Kingdom. A rich field of blades to 5 mm is aesthetically set on the contrasting, oxide-coated quartz thumbnail matrix. Liroconite of this quality has not been found in over 125 years, and needless to say, specimens for the collector come far and few between. This is more than a reference example, and is a quite display-worthy thumbnail with lots of the desired color saturation. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
