Item Description

Collectors of Cornwall minerals arguably list liroconite as their Holy Grail. In this case, neon blue, lustrous and translucent, crystals, to 6 mm across, line a vug in an ocherous matrix. Very dramatic! These specimens came out in the mid-1800s, and not since in any quality. This kind of a rich miniature, with a dominant central crystal, would be easily seen at shows at higher prices - if you can find one for sale at all.
