A small toenail / large thumbnail specimen of one of the most desirable mineral species from Cornwall. The finest Liroconite specimens in the world are from Cornwall, and this species dates back nearly 200 years, as it was first described / named in 1825. This piece hosts sharp, lustrous, well-formed, beautiful blue color monoclinic crystals of the rare hydrated hydroxy copper aluminum arsenate, Liroconite. A very attractive little specimen, and highly sought after on the market.
