Item Description

Riveting, sparkling intense blue linarite crystals, to about 1.0 cm, are richly and attractively clustered on the large matrix plate. Green caledonite is a fine contrast and accessory. The extinct Au-Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu Reward Mine is well-known for numerous secondary lead and copper species and this is a very rich, colorful and showy large linarite and caledonite combination from the locale. One edge has been sawed and there is more linarite on the back as a bonus. See the 2010 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 41, No. 2. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. An important large rich linarite combination from the locale.
