Linarite (rich specimen) with Caledonite (rare)

This is certainly one of the biggest, richest and most impressive examples of this material that we've ever had to offer. This is a very hard to find full cabinet sized specimen featuring a RICH coverage of stark blue colored Linarite associated with greenish-blue colored Caledonite on host rock matrix from the Blue Bell Mine near Zzyzx, California. There isn't just a micro "druse" of Linarite on the piece, as there are many fine quality, lustrous, striated crystals faces all over. Fun to view under magnification, but it's also a showy display specimen, which is HARD to find from this locality. Good pieces of Linarite from the Blue Bell Mine are incredibly hard to find on the market these days, and specimens this size are virtually unseen. Valued $3,500 for the richness, size and rarity.
From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds who passed in August of 2020 (#RR0166). Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011.
