Item Description

Linarite is a beautiful lead copper sulfate mineral, showing one of the most intense blue colors of any mineral species in the world. Some of the most well-known examples of the species are those from the Blanchard Mine in New Mexico. Here we have a good representative example of this classic material featuring gorgeous glowing azure blue colored micro crystals of Linarite filling vugs and seams throughout the matrix composed of Baryte and Quartz primarily. While the color of the Linarite is easy to see with the naked eye, the individual crystals are best seen with some magnification. A good overall example of these wonderful specimens from one of the most famous localities in New Mexico.
