Item Description
A rarely seen pseudomorph of Limonite after Pyrite from the lesser known Glyndon Mining District in North Carolina. This piece is a sharp, well-formed, heavily striated cube of Pyrite which has been pseudomorphed into brown Limonite on the surface. The piece is in very good shape all around, and it's nearly a "floater" as it's crystallized on all sides, but there are a few spots where it's not complete. I honestly can't remember seeing another one of these pieces before, and if you collect pseudomorphs, rare locality pieces or specimens from the Southeastern United States, don't miss out on this beauty.
