Limonite pseudomorph after Pyrite

A classic example of the famous pseudomorphs of Limonite replacing Pyrite from the White Desert in Egypt. This piece shows the textbook cubic form of the original Pyrite crytals which have been completely replaced by semi-metallic, bronze colored Limonite. It's a complete floater, crystallized all the way around. No real damage to speak of, and what showy thumbnail! A great specimen for a thumbnail collector, a pseudomorph collector or a really just a cool specimen for people who like interesting minerals.
