Item Description
An impressive and sculptural 360-degree small cabinet cluster of intergrown Limonite (possibly Goethite) pseudomorphs after sharp Pyrite crystals from this classic and well-known Utah mineral locality. These pseudomorphs have a rich mahogany-brown color and a nice silky luster. The crystals range up to an impressive 3 cm on edge, and the subtle striations have been well preserved. Even some of the minor contacting from the original specimen has been preserved. Common in the late 1990s, you don't see many around anymore. These come out of a former fossiliferous limestone now altered to clay. A fine and impressive pseudomorph from the locality.
