A very rare pseudomorph from an unknown locality in Sonora, Mexico and the James Zigras Mexico Collection. Intergrown pseudomorphs of moderately lustrous gray limonite after sharp pyrite cubes form this sculptural miniature. Scattered translucent, lustrous, yellow-green, euhedral crystals of possible vesuvianite? add color and character. If it is vesuvianite, this a VERY RARE combo! Comes with an older label from the 1960s or 70s.
