Limonite ps after Pyrite (rare iron cross twin)

Multiple iron cross twins abound on this superb pyrite specimen which has been altered to a gorgeous and even mahogany colored limonite. The limonite has completely replaced the original pyrite. A fascinating geometry, and the color only amplifies the sense of angles. Interestingly, this is one of those rare "other minerals" that can come from the famous Gachala emerald deposit. A superb example, complete all around, and the one kept in the collection by the importer. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently.
