Item Description
From the TYPE LOCALITY of Likasi, Likasite is a rare copper nitrate. To find such a rich coating of blue, almost dentritic growth is highly unusual for the Likasi district. Such a habit and form is more likely to be seen in Kazakhstan, so to see such a pattern from here makes this miniature all the more desirable. Old Trinity Minerals label, from some find John spotted back in the 1990s.
