Item Description
A hard to find specimen of the rare copper phosphate Libethenite from the Santa Rita District. Upon close inspection, one can see sparkling, rich forest green crystals in various vugs. A very nice example of this very hard to find material. The crystals are best seen with a loupe or microscope, and we used a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. Valued at $350. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9460). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
