Item Description

A classic example of the old Rokana Mine Libethenites featuring a sharp, lustrous, deep green colored, layered crystal group measuring 1.0 cm in host rock matrix. Very good quality for the locality and the species, and virtually impossible to find on the market today. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9071). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
