Item Description

Scintillating, sharp, deep forest-green, libethenite crystals to 2 mm fill a sculptural vug in quartz matrix on this excellent and rich old-timer from the Typte Locality. There is an old expertly handwritten number, 2470, on paper on the back, that has to be pre-World War II or much older. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and purchased from the Brian Lloyd Collection in 1977 for 30 pounds, when Slovakia was still part of the Soviet Union.
