Item Description

Sharp, highly lustrous, mostly greenish-black pseudo-octahedral libethenite crystals are densely intergrown to form a very showy and rich 360-degree mounded thumbnail. It is another of the libethenite crystal habits produced by this mine and is a fine example of this varietal. This large underground and open pit Cu-Co mine produced the world's finest examples of this uncommon Cu-phosphate in 1975, with several different crystal habits found.
