Item Description

Sharp, textbook crystals of libethenite coat a rather large display face on this sparkling specimen, of very good size for this material, from the famous Mutanda Mine in the Copper-Cobalt belt of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sharp crystals like this, with such luster, are uncommon - and there are hundreds here. This could easily be split into two superb miniatures. From the Ed Loye collection, donated to benefit the MINDAT auction.
