Item Description
The Tip Top pegmatite is renowned for its rare phosphate species and this showy and rich miniature included three of them. Most of the piece is covered with sparkly, gemmy, olive-green, leucophosphite crystals. Sparkly, gemmy, honey-brown jahnsite crystals are concentrated along the top of the crystal field and a few, complimentary rose-pink hureaulite crystals are on the upper left-edge of the piece. Ex Will Henderson Collection and obtained from prominent, deceased (2004), US micromounter, Lou Perloff.
