A classic, textbook, 2.5 cm, tan, compound tetragonal leucite crystal is dramatically perched on the crest of the volcanic tuff. This outstanding old-timer is probably from the famous deposits at Roccamonfina, Caserta Province, Campania, Italy. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. The 3.0 cm label with 4 lines of superb printing is from a collection, that was auctioned in 1908! $5.00 was expensive in 1908! Value???
