A super cool and exotic looking 360-degree small cabinet combination from the pegmatites of Govenador Valadares. A beautiful 4.0 cm hemisphere of pearlescent, pretty lilac colored lepidolite plates is dramatically accented by a 4.3 cm diverging 'tree' of lustrous, terminated, gemmy/translucent, green tourmaline crystals. The pastel-pink tourmaline 'tree root' is fantastically exposed in the side of the blocky microcline matrix. Another generation of small sparkly lepidolites covers the inside of the green tourmaline 'tree', adding more character. A surreal and exceptional combination from Brazil. From the Michel Jactat Collection, a (semi) retired French dealer who specialized in Brazil minerals and has lived and mined there for decades as he is now 80, and continuing. (The sale of the collection to us helped pay for another backhoe and excavator because everybody needs their toys!).
