Lepidolite (purple and yellow) on Quartz

Item Description

A highly unusual piece with large, platy, deep purple colored lepidolite perched ATOP of a quartz point. Already weird and uusual, this piece is made more interesting by a cluster of yellow lepidolite, attached as a later formation to the base of the purple lepidolite. I am a big believer in fine lepidolites - you do not see a lot of them, and this is one! The cluster of vertically stacked crystals atop is 6 cm tall
