Lepidolite crystals ex Mullane Coll

Item Description

An excellent and showy cluster of lavender, intergrown, knobby, hexagonal lepidolite crystals from the famous pegmatites at Virgem da Lapa, Brazil. The broken faces on the backside reveal the beautiful, silvery-lavender luster of the crystals. Considering that lepidolite is usually either sheety like common mica or bearing a dull translucency, this is quite remarkable to see.
