An elegant old-time miniature combination from the famous Himalaya Mine. An aesthetic corsage of pretty lavender, lustrous and translucent lepidolite crystals is beautifully set on "leaves" of pearlescent cleavelandite plates. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 1771 and acquired from Scott Williams in October, 1960 at the Long Beach Club Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Classic, very fine, OLD-TIME lepidolite and cleavelandite from the Himalaya.
