Item Description

Highly lustrous, lilac-colored lepidolite prisms form a striking large complete all-around and pristine "ball" or skull-shaped specimen from the famous Alto Ligonha District. This is an exceptional and classic old specimen from the active mining period from the Bob Trimingham Collection and was purchased in 1972 from the Frazier's. Ex Jack Parnau Collection, who apparently purchased the piece from Burminco in 1957! Rarely on the market today, I have sene only small and less impressive examples of this material.
