Lepidolite and Quartz on Cleavelandite

Striking clusters of parallel-growth, spearpoint-shaped, lavender lepidolite blades aesthetically surround a water-clear, glassy, 2.5 cm, quartz crystal on bladed cleavelandite matrix. A bit of bruising is noted to one of the lepidolite "books", but is certainly only a modest detraction. This is a classic, excellent and very showy combination piece from the famed Himalaya Mine.
