Outstanding and just about perfectly arranged, this choice Ettringite miniature is from the N'Chwaning II Mine in the Kalahari manganese field. The crystals are a uniform and attractive lemon-yellow, and the luster is good. These Ettringites are either doubly-terminated or terminated, with the terminations being smooth and beveled. At 3.1 cm, this piece can be either a miniature or a thumbnail, depending on how you choose to orient it. Either way, it is a terrific specimen.
