Item Description

Lemmleinite-(Ba) is an extremely rare sodium potassium barium titanium niobium cyclosilicate that is only found in a handful of localities in the Kola Peninsula of Russia. This piece is loaded with brilliant orange color, micro crystals of vitreous, very sharp, well-formed monoclinic Lemmleinite-(Ba) on matrix. We have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. As I said, this species has never been reported outside of the Kola Peninsula, and specimens are very difficult to find on market. The species was named in 1998 after Georgy Glebovich Lemmlein, and after the initial discovery, very few specimens were available for collectors. If you collect rarities, don't miss out on this COLORFUL and eye-catching specimen.
