Item Description

Lemanskiite is a very rare hydrated sodium calcium copper arsenate, which is found in less than 10 mines around the world. The species was named in honor of Chet Lemanski, a collector from New Jersey and the former President of the Franklin-Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society. The intense blue color is the most well-known attribute of the species. Here we have a nice thumbnail sized specimen featuring This piece features a coverage of intense glowing Turquoise blue Lemanskiite which can be seen on all sides of the specimen. This is more of a micro specimen, and it's fun to view up close, but keep in mind that this material is VERY hard to find on the market these days. The piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value in my mind.
