Item Description

Lemanskiite is a very rare hydrated sodium calcium copper arsenate, found in less than 10 places on earth. It was named for New Jersey collector, and former President of the Franklin-Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society, Chet Lemanski. The species is well known for its beautiful blue color, which comes from the fact that it's a dimorph of Lavendulan, another vibrant blue mineral. This piece features lovely blue Lemanskiite associated with a green mineral that could be Olivenite. VERY hard to find on the market these days.
