Item Description

Leifite is a rare silicate and specimens are VERY RARE from this famous Type Locality. White sprays of acicular crystals, to 8 mm, are scattered on the multi-species matrix, which includes lots of platelets of the rare Mica Group species, taniolite. This is also the Type Locality for taniolite. Choice and rare combination material from the Matioli Collection. It is very difficult to get Greenland specimens today.
