Legrandite is a very rare and sought after mineral species, with very few good quality specimens appearing on the market. Specimens from the Ojuela Mine are arguably the best of the species, from only a few pckets in the 1980s and one recent modern find.This is from the older finds, with a special luster and gemminess that is incredibly rare to see. This cluster, freefloating from matrix, features several intergrown legrandite crystals with high luster, with the largest crystal reaching 2.1cm (jsut under an inch!) They show an unusual style , with flat terminations and gentle parallel striations that run the length of the crystals, adding complexity and interest.
